CORN - Stand Count
Information sharing is highly critical as we need planting date to start our growth model. This tracks growing degree units to notify us when the crop will emerge, dispatching us at the right time. This allows us to catch any planting and re-planting issues in a quick manner, allowing you to take corrective actions to fix the problem. Quick response allows for top potential yield, leading to profit. Stand Count allows us to start seeing yield potential differences across your field to make in-season decisions to maximize profits per acre. Stand Count is also important with our Nitrogen model. For corn: population (stand) drives yield and nitrogen needs. We can best fit nitrogen to yield and yield to profit.
